First Day of Soccer

So Reid wanted to play soccer again this year...We wanted him and his best friend, Maddux to be on the same team since they won't be in school together anymore. The only way to do that was for their dads to be the coaches! Garrett and Max are the coaches for their team, The Red Revolution! Garrett really doesn't know anything about soccer so this should be interesting and fun! :~) They had their first practice today and everyone did well. Wish us luck for this season! I have to say they are the cutest team there!!

Lunch Time

I was off on Wednesday so I decided to have lunch with my sweet little boy at his school! I got there early so I was already sitting in the lunchroom when they were walking in so I got to see him interact with the kids and teachers. He did exactly what he was suppose to do and it was awesome to be able to see him interact. I am so happy that I was able to have that time with him. We had a great lunch and I hope to do it again sometime soon.

First Day of Kindergarten!!!!!

Well, today was Reid's first day of Kindergarten! We started the day off with a good breakfast and he wanted it in bed!!!! Then we got dressed and had to take some pics and Reid wrote is name in the dew on the car, then we headed to school... He started off a little sad once we got there but i think it was just because it was all so new. One of his good friends is in his class so that made him feel a little better! It was hard to leave him but I did and I was sad all day...I was a wreck! :-( But I did get to pick him up from school today and it was an AWESOME feeling to see his sweet little face when he came out wearing his back pack!!! I asked him about his day and he said he had a good day and his teacher was nice and she told funny stories!!!! I guess he had a big day because he crashed on the couch early!!! I can't believe our little boy started kindergarten!!!!! We are so blessed to have a sweet and awesome little boy... Thank God for blessing us!!!!!

Kindergarten!!!!!

Well, my baby starts kindergarten on Monday!!!!!! :-(( We went to meet his teacher, Mrs. Wiegel yesterday and I feel blessed that Reid has her for a teacher this year! She seems very nice and fun!! I am very thankful that Reid had such a wonderful preschool to go to the last 3 years and it is hard for me to believe that he won't be going there Monday !!! We are going to miss St.. John's Lutheran Preschool! I can't thank them enough for how much they loved and cared for my son!!!!! I don't know if I will be worth anything on Monday but I am going to try and keep it together.... Yeah right!!! I thought I was doing ok with this but yesterday I pulled up to pick Reid up from school and I literally started crying... It hit me like a ton of bricks!! I couldn't even talk to the teachers and tell them how much I appreciated them !! Ridiculous!! I am going to be "that mom"!! :-)) please pray for Reid and me on Monday!!!

Wallace Family Reunion

The Wallace family reunion was this weekend in Gillett, AR. We all went and my brother and his family met us there too. We stayed at the farm and Reid was soooo excited. We got to go to my favorite drive in, Troy's so I could get a Cherry Vanilla Coke (yummy).We went to the reunion, went swimming at the pool I used to work at, shot guns, rode the combine and gator, cooked at the camp and just lived it up like I use to back in the day. Reid did not want to come home... and tell you the truth neither did I. I was kinda home sick. There is nothing like that feeling of home.

My nephew, Wright came back with my parents from Jackson, MS to stay with us for a week. Wright and Reid had so much fun playing together. My mom and dad did everything with them... Reid didn't even want to go home with me because they were having so much fun. I wish they could live closer to each other. They were both very sad when Wright had to go home.
